The law firm Hövel & Collegen was founded by attorney Hildegard A. Hövel in 1984. Since 1986, bankruptcy and later insolvency proceedings of all sizes have been handled. The goal is always – where still possible – to continue operations through restructuring or sale. This serves to preserve the economic unit and secure jobs. Creditor interests are also protected through achieving higher distribution rates.
Insolvency Administration
Our office organization is set up to take over insolvency proceedings of companies with ongoing business operations of any size at any time.
Estate Administration
Estate administration can be ordered when there is a need to secure the estate. Since 2012, we have been appointed by numerous courts.
Will Execution
Will execution is the professional estate settlement by a neutral and expert person. The executor is the trustee of the estate.
Out-of-Court Liquidation
Since 2015, out-of-court liquidations have been increasingly carried out. The remaining assets of typically a GmbH are properly realized and tax obligations fulfilled.
